Perfect for students who:

Study 4 hours per week, Monday to Thursday, with live virtual classes taught by experienced Canadian teachers. This flexible program is offered at three levels: Beginner, Intermediate, and Advanced.

  • Want to improve speaking and listening skills
  • Prefer a relaxed, supportive atmosphere
  • Need maximum flexibility (only 4 hours per week)
  • Want to feel more confident in day-to-day conversations, school, or work

All students are welcome to join the English Conversation Program. There are no minimum language requirements.

To ensure students join the right class, CLLC provides a short placement interview on the first day. Based on this interview, students are placed into one of our group levels.

Students can start any week and attend between 1 to 20 weeks depending on their goals and schedule.

  • Courses start on Mondays, except the last Monday of the year.

  • If Monday is a national holiday, classes will begin on Tuesday.

  • Additional class times may be opened depending on student demand.

Beginner Level
Learn the vocabulary and expressions for daily life and simple social situations.
Examples: Hobbies, Food, School, Fun Activities, City Life, Jobs, Family, Habits, Travel, Politeness, Colours, Culture.

Intermediate Level
Build fluency to express opinions, describe experiences, and discuss familiar global themes.
Examples: Nutrition, Technology, Money, Advertising, Cities, Leadership, Science & Food, Success & Failure, Health & Environment.

Advanced Level
Develop the skills to participate in complex conversations and express nuanced ideas.
Examples: Globalization, Innovation, Energy Sources, Media & Propaganda, Entrepreneurship, Food Security, Personal Branding, Sustainability, Technology & Society.
